TUESDAY, July 22, (News Locale) - Recent months has seen Transcend slowly assert its presence in the Indian market for flash cards. Following the launch of its JetFlash V90 Pizazz flash card early this month, Transcend has announced the launch of 300X Compact Flash Card in India.
Aimed specifically at professional and amateur photographers, the 300X CF Card comes with a 16 GB capacity and can achieve read/write speeds of up to 50 Mbps, making it the world's fastest compact flash card. The card works on dual channel Ultra DMA mode 5 and has an in-built Error Correction Code to help avoid any errors during data communication.
Expressing confidence that the 300X CF Card will prove to be a hit among photographers, Transcend's regional head for sales - SAARC and APAC, Austin Huang said, "We are extremely proud of the fact that among the 130 memory cards tested, the new Transcend 300X 16GB has emerged as the world’s first CF card to have broken through the 50MB/second barrier. Other features include IDE PIO mode 6 support, multi-platform compatibility, compliant with the new CF 4.1 standard, low power consumption and lifetime warranty
The 300X CF Card is available with capacities of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB with price ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 11,000.
