P3470 smart phone from HTC includes GPS navigation |

SATURDAY, Feb 16, (News Locale) - HTC has announced the release of P3470 smartphone at an event during the ongoing World Mobile Congress in Barcelona. The new model features GPS navigation and also boasts of TomTom Navigator 6.
Powered by Windows Mobile 6, the P3470 smartphone also has a 2.8-inches QVGA TFT LCD touch-screen and 128MB of internal memory. HTC said the new phone will set “a new standard in affordable smart phone, GPS-based devices."
The company also said that it would be supplying a 1 GB microSD card with the phone. The P3470 also includes 256 MB of Flash memory. Bluetooth 2.0 and a 2 mega pixels camera complete the phone's features.
P3470 smartphone is touted to have a long battery life and is expected to deliver 350 minutes of talk time plus 10 days or 240 hours of standby time.
HTC’s P3470 smartphone is all set to be retailed across select European countries and will operate on the Orange network. Although the exact pricing details are yet to be revealed, the phone is expected to retail for $650 or Euro 450.
