FRIDAY, August 1, (News Locale) - The Nokia 6210 Navigator has been launched in the Indian markets with a view to target tech lovers. The 6210 is a successor to the hugely popular Nokia 6110 Navigator.
The Nokia 6210 is a slider phone that weighs just 117 grams and supports the Nokia Maps feature. It is also equipped with 2.4 inch 16-million color QVGA display (320×240 resolution) as well as a 3.15 megapixel camera.
The camera has essential features like auto focus. The new phone from the Finnish mobile giant also offers flash and video recording and includes digital compass and quad-band GSM connectivity in the range of 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz
Nokia 6210 has an expandable 120MB of internal memory and runs on Symbian S60 platform on a 369MHz processor. The Nokia 6210 will be available in red and black colours and is also equipped with a microSD slot for additional memory.
Priced at a moderate Rs 17,000, the Nokia 6210 includes a magnetic compass that orients the position of the user even in places where the Earth's magnetic field is a bit dodgy.
Multimedia features include FM radio and a media player with MPEG-4, H.263 and H.264 support. Users can also avail photo and video editing capabilities with the Nokia 6210. The latest in the Navigator series from Nokia, the 6210 also includes a MP3 player supporting MP3, MP4, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA formats.
The only feature that is lacking and prevents the 6210 from being a utility device is the absence of Wi-Fi capabilities.
