Lenovo's Ideapad U110 Takes a Bow in India |

SUNDAY, May 4, (News Locale) - After enjoying a fairly successful release in the US, leading notebook manufacturer Lenovo has unveiled its latest edition of Ideapad laptops in India.
Designed by keeping fashion conscious consumers in mind, the Ideapad U110 comes with a sleek design consisting of a 11-inch frameless display and has a total weight of less than 1.13 kgs. Suitable for mobile users, the laptop measures between 0.7 to 0.9 cms and has been released in red and black color finish.
The U110, fitted with a 120GB hard disk, is built using Intel Centrino processing technology and with up to 3GB of memory, promises faster data access to its users. To be available at a price of around Rs 80,000, the laptop also has an inbuilt VeriFace and Face Recognition technology using which the U110 allows access to the user based on face recognition.
Other features include an inbuilt camera, Bluetooth connectivity, a DVD burner drive, Intel’s GMA X3100 integrated graphics chipset, Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6 GHz processor and a pre installed Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.
The U110 comes with an additional battery back up of up to 8 hours and has a number of multimedia rich features such as Dolby Home Theatre and the MultiMedia Control Center. The Ideapad U110 is expected to be available in the Indian markets by end of May.
