MONDAY Dec 24, 2007, (News Locale) - Taiwan-based Genius has a new Christmas gift to the Indian gizmo lovers in the form of its latest active 3-piece N-series speaker system "SW-N2.1 1100" that claims to have a 28-watt RMS output power.

The SW-N2.1 1100, available in the Indian market for Rs 3,500, comes close on the heels of Genius’ two-piece stereo speaker system launched some time ago.

SW-N2.1 1100 comes with an elegant black with a chrome decoration line and includes a fabric front cover for the satellites. The company claimed that the SW-N2.1 1100 speaker system’s wood sub-woofer cabinet includes a built-in 5-inch driver, while the satellite speakers have dual 2-inch drivers.

In addition, the new speaker system comes with a wired remote control offering functions like mute, volume bass adjustment as well as a earphone jack for private listening.

According to KYE Systems (India) Corp. Country Manager Sandeep Ramani said that the company intends to spread Genius’ market in India with the introduction of a new assortment N-series of 2.1 speaker systems that are now available at special introductory price and volume discounts.

He said that the stylish flat device can ideally be placed on desk even if the customer uses a panel PC, laptop or any other audio device.

The Genius SW-N2.1 1100 speaker system is now available in India through Transtek, Ingram Micro and Redington.
