"Bioshock" is the story of Jack, a plane crash survivor, who finds himself in Rapture. The latter is an underwater city currently controlled by mutated life forms. As Jack, gamers will have to decide whether to save Rapture or exploit the situation.

Bioshock also happens to be the second-highest rated Xbox 360 game. Indiagames is bringing Bioshock to mobiles in partnership with IG Fun. The latter has obtained global rights from 2K Games to bring the game to the mobile platform.

"BioShock is a special game in its genre; it brings an element of conflicting morals which has an impact on the storyline, and, among other things, on the difficulty of the game itself," said Sean Malatesta, CEO, IG Fun.

Bioshock is also popular because it allows gamers to do just about anything. For example any entity can be turned into a weapon and the creepy atmosphere of plasmids only adds to the game's allure.

Gamers can look forward to the same elements in mobiles as well; but as yet it is unclear as to when the game will debut on cell phones.
