7Seas Hedges Its Bets on 3D Mobile Gaming |

FRIDAY, July 11, (News Locale) - The 3D mobile gaming arena is a relatively nascent field across the world. In such a situation, Hyderabad-based gaming company 7Seas Technologies Limited has launched seven 3D mobile games across the world.
The games cover various genres including puzzle, action, adventure and racing. 7Seas Technologies Limited claimed the games were the first of its kind to be developed in India.
L Maruti Sankar, Managing Director of 7Seas told media reporters the games were developed by the company over a period of 18 months and an investment of $1 million. 7Seas said it was targeting consumers owning high-end mobile handsets that support 3D mobile games.
The seven games announced by the company include puzzles "3D Sudoku" and "Planets of Sudoku 3D", action games "Neetu The Alien Killer" and "Great Elude", adventure games "Treasure Trove", and racing titles "Derby3D" and "Kraze".
Of the seven games "Neetu The Alien Killer" is a fresh concept in that it is based on Bollywood actor Neetu Chandra who is the "Alien Killer" in the game. Neetu takes on a variety of aliens in this adventure as she tries to save the human race from their nefarious designs.
7Seas Technologies, which posted revenue of Rs 7.67 crore during the fiscal 2007-08, is predicting a revenue of $3 million from these seven 3D mobile games. The company is also planning to launch other games featuring Bollywood characters.
Users owning high-end handsets of Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola can download these games by sending a SMS 'GAMES' to 56263 via the IMIMobile network. Consumers can also choose to download wallpapers and ringtones of these games if they so desire.
