WEDNESDAY, July 23, (News Locale) - The reigning superstar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan has decried attempts by certain sections of the media and film fraternity of trying to sabotage the ongoing 'Unforgettable' world tour.

Writing in his blog, Bachchan, known as Big B, said he was shocked and disgusted by such attempts. "I have on several occasions spoken of a bias that exists for no reason whatsoever, against us and on each occasion you my readers, have pleaded that I ignore them for greater dignity and character," he wrote.

He was referring to some media reports that say the tickets for the tour were priced out so may consumers could not afford them.

Bachchan, who is touring with son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya, said the matter of ticket price was between the promoters and the producers.

"We are not here for the money. It is an opportunity for us to meet and greet our fans and provide them entertainment for a few hours," he wrote. "Those that harbor ill feeling, those that connive, will never share the joy of achievement, the ecstasy of creativity and the adulation of those that love us. We feel blessed to have your affection and love."

The 'Unforgettable' tour started off to packed houses in Toronto and then moved onto Trinidad. The Bachchan, who also have Priety Zinta and Ritesh Deshmukh on Tour, will traverse the United States and England as well.
