FRIDAY, Mar 7, (News Locale) - Three months ago a 19-year-old gawky lad from the modest Patel Nagar in Delhi was a non-entity as far as cricket in India was concerned. Today Ishant Sharma is being hailed as one of the brightest stars to grace the fast bowling area of Indian cricket.

MONDAY, Feb 25, (News Locale) - The setting was the same. One of the characters involved was the same. And again the result was the same!! Once again Andrew Symonds got away scot-free after provoking an opposition team member. This time it was young Ishant Sharma who was fined 15 percent of his match fees for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct 1.6 rule.

THURSDAY, Feb 21, (News Locale) - It was Mahendra Singh Dhoni's day at the Twenty20 Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction held at the Hilton Towers yesterday. Chennai SuperKings owned by India Cements splashed out a whooping $1.5 million of Rs 6 crore for 44 days of service from the India ODI skipper.
