London, Oct 24 (ANI): Popstar Miley Cyrus got a major lecture from her father, as he told her to concentrate on her career rather than her beau. The Hannah Montana actress, who is dating 20-year-old Justin Gatson, was told by her father Billy Ray Cyrus not to ruin her burgeoning career and to watch her actions, as many she is an icon for many. "We brought Miley up with good morals and strong religion, but she's at that age where she is bound to be experimenting and her hormones are going nuts. Miley's career is just rolling along now and getting bigger and bigger. Everyone loves her and she has a shot to have a career like Julia Roberts or Jennifer Aniston or someone like that," British tabloid The Sun quoted Billy as telling a pal. "I told her in no uncertain terms that her career would be over if something stupid were to happen and she would no longer be a role model for young girls, something she takes very seriously.I think I made an impression on her; at least I hope so," he added. Billy also told that Cyrus was a good girl, but needed to watch where she was heading. "I don't want to forbid her from dating because that would just make her sneak around. I'd rather have everything up front and out in the open. Miley is a really good kid, but she has to watch her step as far as boys are concerned," he said. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has blasted critics for judging her relationship with Gatson. (ANI)

London, Oct 24 (ANI): Many might tout him as the perfect Bond, but Daniel Craig himself thinks that US presidential candidate Barack Obama would be a better Bond, at least when compared to his opponent John McCain. Craig's comment may give the Democratic candidate a much-needed boost as the US presidential elections are approaching nearer. The 'Casino Royale' star has admitted that though he likes both the candidates in the run up to the November 4 election, he insists that Obama is his ideal choice for the White House. He said that Obama would be a better Bond than ageing prisoner of war McCain. "Obama would be the better Bond, because, if he's true to his word, he'd be willing to quite literally look the enemy in the eye and go toe-to-toe with them," the Daily Express quoted Craig as telling U.S. magazine Parade. In fact, the super spy also said that McCain would make a good M in a Bond flick. He explained: "McCain, because of his long service and experience, would probably be a better M. There is, come to think of it, a kind of Judi Dench quality to McCain." (ANI)

London, Oct 24 (ANI): A homeless man has found the missing waxwork of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney. The head, which was due to be sold on October 26, went missing when auctioneer Joby Carters was transporting it to London on a train. He also offered 2,000 pounds as reward for the return of the waxwork. Homeless Tony Silva turned out to be the lucky winner, after he discovered the head in Reading, England, mistaking it for a Halloween mask when he saw it poking out of a refuse sack. "It's the strangest thing ever to happen to me," the Daily Express quoted Silva, as saying. (ANI)

London, Oct 24 (ANI): Actor Edward Norton has slammed rumours that he and Brad Pitt will be starring in musical version of their hit film Fight Club, because of Pitt's bad singing. Norton has asserted that he and the 'Troy' star, who co-starred with him in the 1999 movie, will not be doing the stage reprisal of the movie. The 39-year-old star said that Brad Pitt "can't sing", so it is most unlikely that he could star in the musical. "This has been floating around for a while. I've seen different notions of it. I doubt it'll be me and Brad. I know Brad can't sing," the Daily Star quoted Norton as saying. It is rumoured that the music for the stage version of the movie will be given by Nine Inch Nails star Trent Reznor. He said: "Reznor would be about the right vibe for it, I guess." (ANI)
