London, Sept 4 (ANI): A couple who had met on a dating website saw their luck continuing through the Internet when they won 1.9million pounds playing the lottery online.

The duo, Ed and Michelle Edwards, had been living on a low budget before grabbing a share of Saturday's Lotto jackpot of just under 8million pounds.

The couple, who have four teenage children from previous relationships and currently live in a rented two-bedroom cottage in Yeovil, have now decide to buy their own detached five-bedroom house in nearby Sherbourne.

When Edwards, 43, had received the email from National Lottery notifying him of their win, he originally deleted it.

But later, he kept it a secret from his wife for three hours last Sunday until he was sure their numbers had come up.

"We were standing in a field with our two dogs when Ed told me and I jumped up and down, screamed and said I didn't believe him, I thought it was a joke," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"The first person I told was my sister, you're told to keep it to yourself but its very difficult, you just have to share that kind of news," she said.

She has already bought a new Mini Cooper convertible after having to sell her last one to bay the bills after her divorce.

Edwards, who works as a computer engineer for Avon and Somerset Probation Service, is taking a month off work to decide his next move.

But the family are determined to go on holiday and buy a bigger house in time for Christmas so that all two of the couple's children who still live at home can have their own rooms.

"Everyone has an idea of what they want to buy if they ever won the lottery but when you do all those ideas seem silly and you dismiss them," Mr Edwards said.

"I always thought I'd like to go to the North Pole and run around naked like Billy Connolly.

"All of a sudden you have this great amount of money but you have to invest it and look after your it and your family," he added. (ANI)

Melbourne, Sept 4 (ANI): Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus' hit single '7 Things' is reportedly about what she hates in her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

The video's director, Brett Ratner, revealed that Cyrus had discussed the song with him and had even told him how much the song, which she co-wrote, means to her, and that it was about an ex-boyfriend.

Even though Ratner refused to reveal who the ex-lover, to whom these words were written "Your friends, they're jerks. When you act like them, just know it hurts," was, he gave away a detailed clue that all but confirms the song is about Jonas.

Cyrus had herself recently admitted, after months of unconfirmed speculation, that she dated Jonas for two years.

"She had me come out to her house," the Daily Telegraph quoted Ratner as saying.

"She started showing me all of her personal items from under her bed that her ex-boyfriend gave her. So she pulled out his dirty socks and a bunch of photographs.

"The necklace she's wearing in the video is the necklace he gave her.

"She's wearing his diabetes or medical necklace," he added. (ANI)

London, September 4 (ANI): Oscar-nominee Keira Knightley has revealed that the dresses she had to wear while shooting her new film 'The Duchess' left her gasping.

The film features her in the role of the 18th century socialite Georgiana Cavendish, the fashion-loving Duchess of Devonshire whose life has often been compared with Princess Diana's.

Knightley said that the costumes made for her role were really very elegant, but insisted that they were not comfortable at all.

"The costumes were fantastic but not terribly comfortable - you can't breathe in those things," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

The Duchess opens in cinemas across Britain on Friday. (ANI)
